An aggressive salesperson only looks in the mirror

We have all heard someone talk about not wanting to be or dealing with a “pushy or sleazy”. The ONLY thing you have to do, is not keep the focus on yourself. Focusing on the CUSTOMER and not your desire to WIN the sale, you are A1!


Anytime a salesperson hyper focuses on their need to meet sales quota, they can’t help but to approach any potential customer like prey in the wild. Seeking the prize customer as if they are a trophy on the wall. People can see these hunters a mile away.


Conversations that are disingenuous, sales driven, and all around superficial will always be spotted. When a salesperson does more talking than listening, has no desire to build a long lasting business relationship. We have heard the term, “Work smarter not harder”. There is a better way! It is called planting seeds, tending the garden, and reaping the fruits of your labor.


Ask questions. Close your mouth. Open your ears.
